EconomySingapore’s key exports surge 46.2% year-on-year in August on strong AI demand

Singapore’s key exports jumped 46.2% year-on-year in August, supported by strong artificial-intelligence demand and a low base from last year. Growth exceeded analyst forecasts and extended the expansion streak to 12 months. Electronic exports rose more than 131%, while non-electronic exports increased 12%, reversing July’s decline.
