WorldSaudi Arabia is ‘in a bind’ as Houthis advance in Yemen, analyst says

Cyrus Schayegh of the Geneva Graduate Institute said Saudi Arabia is “a little bit in a panic” as it faces pressure from the Houthis, Iran and Iran-aligned Shia groups in Iraq. He said the US is offering insufficient military support while blocking major diplomacy with Iran, and that a planned Gulf-Iraq-Iran meeting was partly cancelled under US pressure.
