OtherToronto gold heist: Charges dropped against man accused in theft

Charges have been withdrawn against jeweller Ali Raza, one of nine men accused in the 2023 gold heist at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. Raza left the Superior Court in Brampton free on Wednesday. The theft involved an estimated $20 million in Swiss gold bars and another $2.5 million in cash.
