Kevin Warsh declined to comment on whether he had discussed interest rates with President Trump. On “Balance of Power,” Reps. Mike Lawler and Josh Gottheimer said they would not have raised rates and discussed the effects of higher rates and inflation on consumers. Trump said US rates “should be 1%, or less.”
