ScienceLive: SpaceX Falcon 9 launches from US Space Force base

SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, September 16, to launch the USSF-259 mission aboard a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The four-hour window opens at 6 p.m. PT. The mission’s first-stage booster is set for its 13th flight, after previously supporting Sentinel-6B, Twilight, NROL-172, Transporter-17 and eight Starlink missions, before attempting a landing after separation.
