Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume is publicly calling on the EU to use trade-defense measures against Chinese plug-in hybrids, the first such appeal from a major German automaker. Experts warn that as many as 300,000 European factory jobs could be at risk as the EU-China trade relationship deteriorates toward a possible trade war.
