SocietySingapore MOE to pilot smaller classes and streamlined teacher duties in six schools

Singapore’s Ministry of Education will pilot smaller classes in six schools from next year—three primary and three secondary schools—to improve learning through more individual attention. As part of a broader classroom redesign, the ministry is also considering reducing teachers’ duties so they can spend more time supporting students’ holistic development.
