Countries are likely to invest in additional oil and liquefied natural gas storage to guard against future supply disruptions, Wood Mackenzie chairman and chief analyst Simon Flowers said. He added that buyers may seek more varied gas sources after the Middle East conflict exposed vulnerabilities in global energy supplies.
