TechAI boom accelerating demand for gas turbines, Siemens Energy executive says

Siemens Energy Asia Pacific President Thorbjorn Fors says the growth of artificial intelligence and data centres is driving demand for gas turbines and power infrastructure as electricity needs increase across Asia. Global gas turbine demand has risen from about 50-60 gigawatts a few years ago to more than 120 gigawatts today, with AI responsible for a significant share of the growth.
