Society‘Hillbilly houseboat’ draws attention in Surrey

A camper trailer mounted on a makeshift barge built from 36 cylindrical containers and steel beams is attracting attention near Portage Park on Surrey’s Nicomekl River. Its owner calls the controversial floating home a prototype and says he is testing it on the river.
