> US President Donald Trump says he is optimistic about a possible agreement with Iran, claiming Tehran wants a deal during his visit to Ireland. Iranian professor and analyst Mostafa Khoshcheshm rejects that claim, calling the rhetoric a political tactic to stabilise oil prices ahead of the US midterm elections. He says Iran will not negotiate under pressure and could heighten tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
