Myanmar’s military-backed government has accused its UN representative, Kyaw Moe Tun, of using state property and mission funds without authorisation. He has remained the country’s permanent representative to the UN since his civil-service dismissal took effect on Feb. 27, 2021, despite the military’s efforts to remove him after the coup.
