> More than 70,000 people have fled their homes in Yemen after Iran-backed Houthi rebels launched an offensive aimed at taking the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Many have headed to Aden, while about 1,400 crossed into Djibouti. The UN and IOM say the new displacement is deepening an already severe humanitarian crisis after 12 years of war.
