TechAnthropic CEO urges AI companies to slow model development

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called on AI companies to deliberately slow the advance of model capabilities. He proposed a three-step framework to pace development and allow more time to manage risks, amid growing concern over increasingly powerful systems that could go rogue and perform harmful tasks.
