Construction of Singapore’s North-South Corridor has reached its most technically demanding phase, with unexpected obstacles including large boulders, higher-than-expected rock levels and groundwater inflows. The Land Transport Authority is monitoring progress and will provide an update on the completion schedule. The corridor is due to open in phases from 2027.
