> South Koreans are protesting a possible military deployment to the Strait of Hormuz as the government weighs pressure from the United States against strong public opposition. Polling finds 55% oppose sending military assistance and 30% support it. The route supplies South Korea with 70% of its crude oil and 50% of its naphtha, making it important to energy security and the export-driven economy.
