WorldNepal builds new bridge to reconnect flood-hit town with Kathmandu

Nepalese authorities completed a new bridge over the Tadi River on September 10, restoring the link between flood-devastated Devighat and Kathmandu. It replaces a vital crossing destroyed in the disaster. Flooding in late August killed at least 1,300 people and left more than 5,300 missing in Nepal and Tibet.
