SocietyRunners carry U.S. flag in relay honoring 9/11 victims

Twenty-five years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, members of Virginia’s Old Town Run Club began a 780-kilometer relay carrying an American flag from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to the Pentagon and New York City’s Ground Zero. The event honors the victims and raises money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
