Curtis Wright, a permanent U.S. resident for 25 years, was detained by ICE while returning to Texas from a short business trip to Mexico. A misdemeanor charge from when he was 17, involving carrying Xanax, led to nine months in an ICE detention centre. Wright says officers restrained him in full-body chains.
