TechSingapore mulls licensing rules to strengthen data centre and cloud service security, efficiency

Singapore is considering new licensing requirements for some data centres and cloud service providers to improve resilience and efficiency. Under the proposed Digital Infrastructure Bill, major data centres would need security measures, disruption plans and incident reporting, with more than half of the country's data centres expected to be covered.
