> Military sources in Yemen say more than 140 combatants were killed over the weekend as government forces and Houthi rebels fought in the country’s southwest. The days-long battle is over control of a Red Sea gateway and is Yemen’s deadliest fighting since the two sides’ 2022 ceasefire collapsed in July.
