> U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner expressed optimism about reviving talks to end the Russia-Ukraine war during a Sunday visit to Kyiv. The day before, they held a more than three-hour closed-door meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow that ended without a resolution. Witkoff said they sought a diplomatic, not kinetic, resolution.
