CultureHometown of TV priest Fulton Sheen prepares for his beatification

Catholics in the Peoria, Illinois, area are preparing for a long-awaited beatification service for the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen. The popular television priest will be formally designated “Blessed Fulton Sheen” on Sept. 24 in St. Louis.
