> Israel says it has gained “operational control” of Lebanon’s Ali Taher and a tunnel network beneath it, marking a rare flashpoint after the ceasefire. Its military alleges that Iran-backed Hezbollah used the tunnels to shelter fighters and weapons and repeatedly attacked Israeli forces with drones. The extent of the control remains unclear, and Hezbollah has issued no official response.
