WorldUS sanctions Turkish bank as pressure on Iran intensifies

The United States has sanctioned Turkish bank Golden Global and its subsidiaries as Washington steps up economic pressure on Iran. The Treasury Department accused the bank of helping Iran move oil revenues from China to Turkey, while the bank said it had followed local and international banking rules. The measures are part of the Trump administration’s so-called “Operation Economic Outcast”.
