> Rescuers in Nepal have pulled two workers alive from a hydropower tunnel, nine days after flash-flood debris trapped them. An adviser called their rescue “layer upon layer of miracles.” Around 40 people are still believed trapped. Flooding near the Nepal-Tibet border last week has left almost 1,300 dead and more than 5,000 missing.
