> Fighting has intensified near the border between Yemen’s Taiz and Hodeidah provinces as Houthi forces and the internationally recognised government vie for a strategic section of the Red Sea coast. The Houthis have attacked Taiz, while Saudi-backed government forces say they downed drones over Mokha. Sources say the Houthis are seeking to reach and block the road linking Taiz with the port.
