EconomyVW Approves Plan for 50,000 Additional Job Cuts

Volkswagen’s supervisory board approved a restructuring plan that includes 50,000 more job cuts, a much smaller model lineup and a reduced industrial footprint. The additional reductions equal about 8% of the company’s global workforce at the end of last year.
