> US Vice-President JD Vance says authorities are investigating a deadly strike on a wedding in southern Iran, but he is “sceptical” of claims that the US was involved. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard chief has vowed to “avenge” those killed in the Kuhestak blast. Questions are also being raised about Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon leadership as military leaders are removed or forced out, while oil prices rise again as the US and Iran return to action.
