WorldNepal rescuers race to reach hundreds feared trapped in Rasuwa hydropower tunnels

Rescuers in Nepal are working urgently to reach hundreds of workers believed trapped in hydropower tunnels in Rasuwa near the Chinese border. Catastrophic flash floods last week damaged at least a dozen projects. Crews are using excavators and controlled blasts to remove boulders blocking entrances, while officials hope some workers survived in areas the water did not reach.
