CultureArts groups say new 1,000-seat Tanglin theatre fills a missing middle

Arts groups describe Singapore’s planned 1,000-seat Theatre at Tanglin as filling a gap between venues for about 600 people and larger halls seating 1,600 to 2,000. They say it could help turn productions profitable and discuss the performances that might suit the theatre, due for completion by 2030.
