> A reported US strike near Sirik in southern Iran hit a wedding gathering, with children among the casualties and dozens taken to hospital. Iranian officials called it an attack on civilians, while the US said its latest strikes targeted air-defence sites, radar systems, maritime assets and mine-laying capabilities in response to attempted Iranian attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
