EconomyUS firm to take over some Venezuela oilfields previously run by Chinese, Russian firms

The White House said it will partner with North American Blue Energy Partners in President Donald Trump’s effort to tap Venezuela’s oil industry. The agreement would give the Pentagon a stake in roughly one-fifth of Venezuela’s vast oil reserves. The ruling-party-dominated National Assembly later voted to approve the oil deal with the Trump administration.
