Norway’s King Haakon VIII has sworn an oath of allegiance to the constitution, saying, “So help me God.” He became monarch after King Harald V died on Friday aged 89. Haakon has adopted the motto “All for Norway,” inherited from his great-grandfather, Haakon VII.
