> A catastrophic flash flood triggered by a glacial collapse has killed at least 900 people and left nearly 5,000 unaccounted for. Nepali families in the United States are anxiously seeking news, including Krishna Sharma’s wife in Virginia, who has lost contact with five relatives travelling to Hindu pilgrimage sites. Nepal has requested international help, while the US has pledged more than $3m in aid.
