> The United States and Iran exchanged attacks overnight into Monday for the first time in more than a month. Iran launched missiles at US military targets in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, retaliating for a US strike on Iranian rocket launchers that Washington said were attempting to deploy sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz. The exchange risks reigniting the conflict after weeks of relative military calm.
