WorldNepal floods: Rising rivers and barrier lake hamper rescue efforts

Nepal has warned that river levels are rising as rescue teams search for more than 3,000 people missing since Wednesday’s devastating flash flood. Heavy rain continues in the Himalayan border district of Rasuwa, where a newly formed barrier lake is hindering the operation. Authorities urged residents and rescuers to remain cautious.
