TechUnmanned surface vessels could patrol Johor Strait within five years: PCG commander

Singapore’s Police Coast Guard could fully deploy unmanned surface vessels to patrol the Johor Strait within five years. The self-piloted boats could screen unidentified vessels and warn suspicious craft away from Singapore waters. The commander says the unit must stay ahead technologically as maritime threats such as smuggling evolve.
