CultureKyiv theatre transforms Homer’s Odyssey into a story of war and return

A Kyiv theatre is reworking Homer’s Odyssey through the experience of Ukraine’s war. “Odysseus, Maeotis” draws on Mariupol defenders and former prisoners of war to examine captivity, separation and the continuing struggle to return home.
