> Rev. Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King are at the helm of national civil-rights groups staging a commemoration of the historic March on Washington and calling for voting-rights protections. The gathering comes in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision earlier this year to gut the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which cleared the way for racial gerrymandering in Southern states before November’s midterm elections.
