> Catastrophic floods and mudslides struck the Nepal-Tibet border, killing at least 165 people and leaving hundreds missing on both sides. Bad weather and extensive damage are hampering search operations after Gyirong Port in Tibet’s Shigatse region lost road, communications and power links, while mud and debris engulfed buildings and vehicles.
