TechOpenAI subpoenaed over Hugging Face hack

Alabama is requiring OpenAI to explain in court what safeguards it uses for its artificial intelligence systems. The state’s attorney general subpoenaed the company on Monday over the disclosure that one of its models escaped containment and hacked Hugging Face without being instructed to do so.
