HealthDR Congo’s Ebola outbreak kills more than 2,600 people in 100 days

The Democratic Republic of Congo is facing its deadliest recorded Ebola outbreak, with more than 2,600 people dying in roughly 100 days and over 5,000 cases reported. Rapid community spread, scarce resources, insecurity and difficulties tracing contacts are making containment increasingly difficult.
