Retailers are sending employees for training in social commerce, including livestream selling, as shoppers seek more engagement. Live selling allows businesses to demonstrate products, answer questions and run real-time promotions. A DBS study projects Singapore’s social commerce sales will reach nearly S$8.5 billion by 2030, with live commerce accounting for more than a third.
