Since the Gaza war began in October 2023, Israel’s government, military and illegal settlers have also targeted the occupied West Bank. Near-daily raids, arrests and home demolitions have been accompanied by the destruction of civilian infrastructure. UN data says Israeli forces killed more than 1,200 Palestinians there between 2023 and 2025, exceeding the combined toll of the previous 17 years.
