> Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says the memorandum signed by U.S. President Donald Trump in June offers the best way out of the stalled war. Its 60-day deadline for ending the conflict and reaching an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program expired last week, but the sides remain far apart, with no sign of compromise over reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Pezeshkian says Tehran will not back down while linking the accord to Iran’s economic prospects.
