Joey Hood, a former US ambassador to Tunisia and former acting director of the State Department’s Office of Iranian Affairs, says Iran’s threat to target countries helping US economic pressure should be taken seriously. He cites Iran’s recent strikes on neighbours from Pakistan to Oman, including missiles fired at Kurdistan Regional Government leaders last week, as well as its long-running pressure on Jordan.
