> The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is growing “exponentially,” a senior UN disease coordinator said Friday. More than 2,500 deaths have been recorded, half of them in the past 20 days. It is already the country’s largest outbreak and is spreading faster than any recorded Ebola outbreak.
