> US President Donald Trump says he will impose tougher economic measures on Iran and on any country that assists or does business with it. In an all-capitalized Truth Social post, he called it “the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country” but gave no details or names beyond Iran. The pledge follows the formal expiry of a 60-day ceasefire on Monday, with no apparent diplomatic settlement to the war.
