Fourteen individuals have received this year’s EcoFriend Awards for developing more sustainable uses for everyday products, including paper-based batteries and soybean waste for farming. Entries exceeded 500 for the first time in a decade, highlighting the challenge of moving green ideas from the lab into daily life.
